Philanthropy

We are proud to announce the return of our annual philanthropy. This year, there will be a weeklong schedule of events that will begin April 27th and run through April 30th. In regards to the awesome events planned, our philanthropy has been respectively named Smash ‘n Splash Week.

This year’s philanthropic beneficiaries will be a selected Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, supporting a cure for breast cancer; Chai Lifeline, raising funds for terminally ill children; and The Gabe W. Miller Foundation, supporting efforts in social work. Each year we have raised more money, and this year we hope to continue that trend. In order to achieve this goal, we would appreciate your support for these very worthy causes.

Each year we try to plan exciting events that Bradley’s students can relate to and come out to support. This spring we will be hosting several events throughout the week on Bradley’s campus. These events include a car smash-a-thon where students get the chance to wreck a donated car with a sledge hammer, throwing pies in fellow student’s faces, and an all-you-can-eat taco dinner.

In addition to those fun-filled events, Alpha Epsilon Pi hosts Bradley University’s largest, alcohol-free foam party that attracts over 1,000 students. This foam party has been embraced by the university, becoming an additional sponsored event during Bradley’s Homecoming week, and has gained tremendous media attention over the years. With this foam party being the pinnacle of Alpha Epsilon Pi social activities, we have decided to combine this event with our annual philanthropy in order to maximize awareness of our selected foundations.

Each member of our fraternity helps in the tireless battle against cancer and the support of families and patients with terminal illness. We look for every opportunity to give back not only to our community and beneficiaries, but also to our students. All students that come to support each event and donate will be automatically entered into our raffle that will be drawn at the conclusion of the week.

Official Philanthropies include but are not limited to: Keshet, Save a Childs Heart, Leket Israel, Friends of the IDF, Sharsheret, Elem, JNF.
